Timings for Government Offices

BBMP typically operate within the standard government office hours in Karnataka:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Closed on Sundays and public holidays
Bangalore One centers typically operate during the following hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Closed on Sundays and public holidays
RTI (Right to Information) & Lokayukta offices in Karnataka are aligned with standard government office hours:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Closed on Sundays and public holidays
Note: There are no separate Sakala offices. Instead, Sakala services are integrated into existing government departments and offices across Karnataka. The Sakala initiative is designed to ensure time-bound delivery of government services, and citizens can access these services at the relevant department that handles a specific service (like revenue offices, transport departments, etc.).Example, if you need a driving license, you would go to the Regional Transport Office (RTO), where the process is handled under Sakala guidelines.
